Over 75% of children in rural India attend government schools. Many are first-generation literates. Government initiatives have helped raise school enrolment rates. However, quality remains a big challenge. Government data shows these students are 4 to 5 levels lower than their actual grade. Ekalvaya solves this major issue through Shikshak Shakti. So that ALL these children are raised sharply up the skills value chain. Get well-paying jobs with reputed organizations. Become respected professionals. Anywhere in India. Or the world.
Shikshak Shakti aims to solve this with an easy-to-implement and massively scalable program developed for Government school teachers in India. The program aims to build ‘Smart Teachers’ by equipping them with modern teaching methods and digital content which will significantly impact the quality of learning in rural Indian schools.
Shikshak Shakti provides teachers with the foundation to achieve the same development level in a child as they would in a private school for all students. In the long run, this would mean that the students gain the necessary foundation to be able to rise to much higher & respectable livelihoods in the future.
