What We Do

TEI works across India with large numbers of youth & children (especially in rural Govt. schools), through unique fate-changing, low-cost, easy-to-implement, massively scalable, high-impact programs

TEI works everywhere, especially in locations which need solutions but currently have none viz. Jalangi, Purulia, Domohani, Purulia TEI has extensive experience with the Eastern zone, with focus in the coal belt, getting our diamonds (our children) to shine amidst the coal belt of India.

TEI breath , depth and speed of impact has generated huge societal recognition & goodwill. Parents of children in schools running Ekalavya programs have flocked to us when we visit their villages, saying ‘Our children in Govt. schools are now much smarter than the ones in private schools’

Imagine a Class X Telugu medium-pass daughter of a road side fruit-juice vendor from a tiny village in Telangana, rising to become a scientist.

Or the child of a slum-dwelling mason from Pune gaining employment in IT in Canada

Or the son of a contract worker in West Bengal, becoming an entrepreneur in Bangalore, employing 700+..

These are a consequence of TEI’s work over the past 18 years with thousands of deprived children & youth in schools & orphanages across the country. TEI has raised their academic, career & livelihood trajectories, significantly through TEI solutions specific to the Indian context.

Where we would like to reach together

Lakhs of children from highly challenged socio-economic backgrounds studying in Government schools achieve the same level of development as in a private high-fee charging school in a large city for 100% of the students, permanently.
