However, quality remains a big challenge. Government data shows these students are 4 to 5 levels lower than their actual grade. Ekalvaya solves this major issue through Shikshak Shakti. Shikshak Shakti aims to solve this with an easy-to-implement and massively scalable program developed for Government school teachers in India. The program aims to build ‘Smart Teachers’ by equipping them with modern teaching methods and digital content which will significantly impact the quality of learning in rural Indian schools.

Program Duration

Pilot Phase

6 months for one class (Class V, VI, or VII) in chosen schools.

Full Implementation

Up to 3 years for all Classes and Sections in V-VIII until teachers are fully comfortable with the program.
